Last year, 61-year-old Steve Nigg beat the breaks off of Jared Fogle, leaving him with a bloody nose and swollen face. Now, he’s revealing why he did it.
In a letter obtained by TMZ, Nigg says that he attacked Fogle because the pedophiles in prison treated him like their god.
Nigg says in his letter that “Jared is their hero,” and “You would not believe how arrogant Jared was. He hired bodyguards and the other child molesters looked at him as if he was a god.”
Since the altercation, Nigg has moved from the Colorado prison with Fogle, to an Oklahoma prison. He says that he has spent many months in the hole, plus the loss of commissary and email privileges, but still doesn’t regret what he did.
