What do you do when everyone in your surroundings are in their late 20’s and you’re reaching your late 30’s? For some odd reason you don’t know what your 30’s and 40’s should look like. The men of our time tend to look for young naive girls, but you know they need a grown woman in their life. You want to act your age, but how do you so while still feeling sexy at the same time?
How to feel sexy after your 30’s and 40’s
– It all starts when you are a teenager- Whatever you do when you are a teenager will reflect on how you look in your 30’s and 40’s. From age 14 to 19, if you are into drugs, plastic surgery, heavy make-up, bad eating habits, and lack of exercise or athleticism, it will show in your 20’s and trickle over to your 30s and 40s.
– Maintain Your image- Now that you are in your 20’s, before you spend thousands on shoes and bags, think about yourself first. It’s not cute to have a empty refrigerator, young ladies should spend $100 to $200 a month buying healthy groceries. $20 to $50 a month on a gym to keep yourself active and healthy. $100 a month on medical and dental insurance, to get your body and teeth checked up regularly. $100 on make-up will only cover up, when you should invest that money in products to make your skin healthy and young looking. $200 to $300 on hair, nails, wax, facials monthly. $20 on multi-vitamins, along with no smoking, no drugs, no stress, and great safe sex. You should invest at least $500 a month on yourself to maintain a younger sexy image. Angela Simmons (Rev Run daughter) is a good example of someone is their 20’s.
– Now that you are grown, Are you sexy?- Now that you are in your 30’s are you sexy like Meagan Good? (Age 34). So many young ladies in their 20’s over did the make-up, plastic surgery, and drugs, that now you can’t see a woman age gracefully. It is very hard to determine what a woman in her 30’s would look like. If you keep up the Three S’s you should be good. Healthy Skin, Less Stress, and Great Sex.
You have to continue to invest in maintaining your image, and your body as stated above. The way you dress plays a part in it also. There is nothing wrong with wearing leggings, sneakers, short skirts here and there, but if you continue to wear cheap clothing and shoes and dress like a teenager, you are cheating yourself out of looking like a grown woman, rather than you will be looking trashy. Laura Govan of Basketball wives is a great example of someone in their mid 30’s that dresses fabulous.
– It don’t stop at 40 – Back in the day most grandmothers were in their 60’s, now you can have a baby by 20 and that child had a baby by 20 and boom you’re a Grandmother at 40, and some even younger. Back in the day teenagers couldn’t hang with the grown folks unless you were special, but now you can be in your 40’s and have friends in their late 20’s, so how do you keep up? Most say they don’t party any more, that’s where you’re wrong!
You don’t have to go to the club, but living an active life is what keeps you young and feeling sexy. Like hiking, bowling, bike riding, traveling, redcarpet events, brunches, comedy shows, concerts, swimming, skiing, live bands, lounges, sport events, exercising, and a shoe club could never hurt.
