There’s no secret just how much of a mood dampener a broken leg or foot can be for young kids. Well now a DC based Physical Therapist, known as the ‘Mad-caster,’ has created a cool way to hype up the process of wearing a cast… by designing them like Yeezy Boost 350’s.
Amanda Hall, the woman behind the casts, caught up with MTV to share how this dope trend came about. “I first started when a tiny baby girl I was working with needed splints, and all I had was beige casting material small enough for her. I styled them as UGG boots to take advantage of the color. Her mom was so proud to put them on her,” Hall explained.
“So, ever since, I’ve been trying to up my game. If it’s cute and will excite my kids, I try and make it work.” And up her game is exactly what she’s done. Tots in the care of the Mad Caster can leave out sporting casts that resemble Jordan’s, Nikes, and even fabulous Louboutins.
