Third time’s a charm for Stevie Wonder, who is planning to tie the knot for the third, and hopefully last, time.
The 67-year-old music icon is currently planning to wed 42-year-old Tomeeka Bracy, his girlfriend and mother of his two youngest children. Sources say the ceremony will be a star-studded event in Jamaica.
The wedding is reportedly scheduled for June 17. Stevie’s seven older children (from previous relationships) will take on the roles of bridesmaids and groom’s men.
Stevie and Tomeeka began dating after he split from his wife, Kai Millard Morris, in 2012. They share two sons. Prior to that, Stevie was briefly married to singer Syreeta Wright from 1970 to 1972.
Tomeeka gave birth to her and Stevie’s second child in 2014, despite his divorce from Kai Millard Morris not being finalized until 2015. Regardless, sources say THIS wedding will be one for the books.
“The guest list is pretty spectacular, and there will be a couple of surprise performances on the night,” the source says. “There will be a huge party afterward as well, and the whole day will be about love, laughter, and family.”
There will also be special guest performances. Stevie will also take the stage to perform at the wedding, but has not revealed which song he will be singing.
