Cleveland Browns wide receiver Josh Gordon is named in a second paternity filing in Ohio, according to Cleveland.com.
The outlet reports that an Ohio woman filed paperwork in 2015 to establish paternity of her young daughter. Sixteen months later, she reportedly received test results saying Gordon was the child’s father with 99.9 percent certainty.
Now, Cleveland.com reports that another Ohio woman, named in the filing as Kristen, has filed to establish paternity of her two year old child. The paperwork was reportedly filed in March and asks for child support if a paternity test comes back positive.
Kristen’s attorney told the publication, “We hope to resolve this matter quickly and amicably.”
Gordon has not publicly responded to the new filing. On the field, he is waiting to be reinstated after a suspension for violating the NFL’s substance abuse policy, and he reportedly hopes Commissioner Roger Goodell will review his application within the next few months.
