Steve Harvey’s Second Ex-Wife Suing Because He Damaged Her Soul

Mary Harvey, Steve Harvey’s second wife, is suing the “The Like A Man” author for $60 million because she says he “damaged her soul.”

Steve and Mary got divorced in 2005, and since then, Mary has been feeling the effects of their split. According to court docs, she’s been suicidal and self-medicates. The couple wed in 1996. They embarked on a bitter custody battle upon their split. Unfortunately, Mary lost custody of their son, Winston,  causing her to be absent in his life. Mary was arrested in 2013 and had to spend 30 days behind bars when she violated her gag order that permitted her from speaking out the divorce.

Mary claims that at the time she and Steve were married, Steve’s current wife, Marjorie, was his mistress. Supposedly, during the divorce,Mary was given three of the couple’s properties and received $40,000 a month until 2009. Mary says that is not true and that Steve still owes her a large sum of cash and has refused to pay up. Steve’s former wife says all of the drama has left her physically and emotionally destroyed. She’s lost her son, her businesses, and the joy of Mother’s Days.

The suit, which was not filed by a lawyer but by a civil rights activist, indicates that Mary is suing Steve for child endangerment, torture, conspiracy against rights, kidnapping, murder, breach of contract and intentional infliction of emotional distress. She’s asking for $60 million.
