Aja Metoyer Says Her Son With Dwyane Wade Is Not A “Break Baby”

New Basketball Wives LA cast member, Aja Metoyer, is sick of her son with Dwyane Wade being labeled a “break baby” so she’s setting the record straight once and for all.

Aja and Dwyane had been friends for nearly 10 years. Aja, who also has two daughters with Damon Wayans Jr., gave birth to Dwyane’s youngest son, Xavier Zechariah Wade, in November 2013. Xavier was reportedly conceived at a time when Dwyane and Gabrielle Union had been going through relationship problems. The couple had broken up at the time Dwyane and Aja slept together but got back together a short time after — hence the “break baby” term. Nevertheless, Aja looked like a side chick in the court of public opinion.

“I think that a little bit of mathematics needs to be done. I’ve known the person ten years,” Aja tells OK! Magazine. “My son is not a break baby. He’s almost four. Do the math.”

Aja says that she is not a mistress and never sought to ruin Dwyane’s relationship with Gabrielle.

“I’ve never been a mistress, side chick, any of those things,” she insisted. “I’m not a homewrecker… I wish I was a little Jezebel, you know? It might have worked out for me better that way.”

Aja continues, “I’ve been cheated on, do you think I’m going to be an accomplice? Someone cheated with my man, why would I put that pain on someone else?”

Aja is now happily in a relationship with a man she chooses not to display on reality television.
