Ex “The Young and Restless” actor, Corey Sligh, has been indicted on two felony counts of child molestation after an 8-year-old female family member alleged he made her “touch his penis.”
Sligh, 29, was arrested on state child molestation charges in Georgia, just one month before his arrest in Florida, which led to federal charges after the offenses crossed state lines.
At the time, the girl told her mother that Sligh touched her several times between April 1 and September 24th. However, Sligh claimed the incident occurred completely different, saying the little girl grabbed his penis but “he was not trying to ‘get off’ or do anything sexual.”
Although Sligh was released on a $22,000 bond, he was arrested one month later after the little girl said Sligh molested her on a family vacation over the summer. According to reports, the girl told her mother that the actor snuck into her room and made her touch his penis. She said when she snatched away, he pulled her panties down and touched her vagina, just before “rubbing his penis on her vagina.”
The child’s mother contacted authorities, who then issued a warrant for the actor’s arrest, prompting Sligh to turn himself in. However, he was released shortly after on a $99,000 bond.
Since then, a grand jury indicted the former actor on two felony counts of child molestation, which carries a sentence of up to 20 years in prison.
