After rumors began to spread about Usher paying a woman over $1 million for allegedly giving her herpes, another lawsuit has been uncovered.
In the suit, filed by a Jane Doe, the plaintiff says she had no idea Usher had herpes when she was engaging in sexual acts with him earlier this year. On April 16, the woman says she and Usher fooled around at her home. She recalls them engaging in acts of heavy petting, some kissing, oral sex and eventually intercourse with a condom. Twelve days later she met up with the married R&B star in New Orleans and they had sex once again. However, this time they did not use a condom.
When Jane Doe read reports about Usher possibly having Herpes Simplex 2, she decided to draw up a case of her own. The legal docs do not specify whether she has herpes or not but she says had Usher disclosed that he had the virus, they would have never had sex.
Jane Doe is suing the singer for negligence, battery, and emotional distress. She’s seeking at least $10 million in damages.
So far Usher has not publicly admitted to the earlier reports that he paid a woman off after giving her herpes, or that the woman was previously his first wife’s bridesmaid. He has since turned off the comments on all of his recent social media posts.
