Boosie’s long running dispute with his bank has taken a surprising turn. According to TMZ, a police report points to the rapper’s own brother as the person behind a series of unauthorized transfers from his Capital One account.

Boosie previously posted on Instagram that he believed fraud had cost him around $469,000, including fees, and said the bank was unhelpful when he tried to get his money back. He also said he was told it was too late to pursue a civil case.

TMZ reports that about $361,000 left the account through more than a dozen wire transfers, including one as large as $80,000. Per the police report, the issue began around the time Boosie’s driver’s license was stolen two years ago. The report alleges his brother, Taquari, called Capital One customer service pretending to be the rapper to approve transfers, but slipped up by mentioning a wife. Boosie does not have a wife, which reportedly triggered the bank’s fraud department to investigate.

TMZ reports Taquari was arrested last week on identity theft and fraud charges. Taquari posted a statement on Instagram saying he is innocent. An arrest is not a conviction, and the case was still developing at the time of this report.
