Floyd “Money” Mayweather is an expert not only when it comes to boxing but also business. In an interview with Stephen A. Smith, Mayweather explained “If I could put myself in a position to make nine figures, why not?”. The comment isn’t so surprising as the record breaking boxer became the first prize fighter in history bringing home 9 figures after defeating well respected Manny Pacquiao.
Win or lose, Floyd will still come out an even richer athlete marking his territory among the richest athletes in the world alongside Michael Jordan and Tiger Woods.
Tomorrow, viewers will pay $99 to watch the elite “Money” Mayweather take on the notorious MMA Connor McGregor in HD and $89 for SD. The fight is expected to generate about $400 million in PPV orders, just like his 2015 fight with Manny Pacquiao, which produced a record-breaking $4.6 million PPV buys.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Floyd “Money” Mayweather loves his money and he knows how to make more of it. Although, his undefeated career is on the line, the benefits will be much more rewarding as he tops his career earnings and improves his record to 50-0, if he wins. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
