Supermodel Jourdan Dunn recently accused a London nightclub of racism after claiming she was thrown out of the venue because “they don’t like black people.”
The 27-year old model was at Reign nightclub on Saturday, celebrating the launch of her new clothing line, Londunn x Missguided SS18 during London Fashion Week. She took to Twitter around 11pm that night and told her followers, “Do not go to Reign nightclub I repeat do not go to Reign nightclub they don’t like black people!”
She went on to say, “The way I was treated at my own event was disgusting! They want to play our music but don’t want our black a** in the club, ha iight cool!”
Prior to the incident, Dunn was photographed outside of the nightclub wearing a minidress and an oversized purple fur coat. While it’s unclear at this time exactly what happened inside of the venue that caused her to feel racism played a part, a source told the Metro that she threatened to cancel the event after the club wouldn’t let her brother in. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
The model followed up on Twitter two hours later to say, “Anyway thank you to everyone who came out it means everything to me. ‘Giggs, Stormzy, Maya, Hailey, Winnie, Nelam, Leignanne, Edward, Ella, Dilone thank you and sorry that you had to experience Reign luv u all.”
