The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame has announced their nominees for the “Class of 2018,” and LL Cool J is once again in the running. This is the fourth time Uncle L has made the list of nominees, but once again, he has some pretty stiff competition. Other artists in the running include Bon Jovi, Radiohead, Rage Against the Machine, Nina Simone, and Rufus featuring Chaka Khan.
To be eligible for the ballot, each artist must have released their first single or album before 1992. The inductees will be officially announced in December and celebrated at a ceremony in Cleveland on April 14th. The ballots will be voted on by more than 800 members of the Rock Hall voting body, but fans can get in on the action as well. The public can cast their vote on the Rock Hall’s website until December 5th.
Last year’s inductees included Pearl Jam, Tupac Shakur, Yes, Journey, Joan Baez, and Electric Light Orchestra.
So will the fourth time be the charm for LL?
