We have all heard the saying, “Dress how you want to be addressed.” While many women feel that the way they dress shouldn’t determine the type of woman they are, there are some people that feel the complete opposite.
Whether you like it or not, people are going to assume the worst of you just by the way you present yourself. One of the biggest controversies is knowing the difference between dressing sexy and dressing like a thot. It seems that some women confuse the two and don’t understand why they are being addressed in certain ways.
Although everyone has their own interpretation of the two and think they are same in someways, we are here to tell you that they are NOT the same in any way.
Dressing sexy doesn’t necessarily mean you have to show skin. There are plenty of women who can make sweatpants and a t-shirt look sexy. It’s simply how you carry yourself. Now, if you opt to show skin, it’s okay to do so but keep it to a minimum because too much is borderline thotish.
For example, men love a woman in a suit. It’s something about the fit of the skirt to her toned calves to the 4” heel on her pumps. You can take a business suit from day to night with a simple top change. Switch from the blouse to a strapless bodysuit. You are not showing too much skin but who said anything was wrong with a little bit of cleavage.
Now when it comes to dressing like a thot, it takes “fashion” to another level. Thots love to show off their bare assets no matter if it’s raining or snowing. They love to be naked!
Let’s be honest, there are some men who are not trying to take a thot home to meet their parents. He wants someone to show off in a presentable way. Now, that doesn’t stop men from looking or f*ckin with thots but I guarantee he isn’t trying to wife one.
Although some women feel that their clothes shouldn’t determine the type of woman they are, it does. Think about how your parents felt when you brought home your boyfriend with his sagging pants. They immediately had their own opinions of the type of person they “assumed” him to be.
Momma always told me, “You don’t get a second chance to make a first impression.”
