The leaves are changing colors, temperatures are dropping and autumn fashion is in! You know what that means – it’s officially fall! It’s that time of the year when you, your friends and family come together for fun, laughs and new memories. Whether you stay in, carve pumpkins or travel it’s about the time spent with those you care about. So, I’ve created a list of ten fall activities for you and your peeps to enjoy!

1. Go to a Haunted House
This is my personal favorite! I love haunted houses! Halloween is right around the corner and it’s time to get spooked. This the perfect place to go with a gang of friends or a nice date with someone who enjoys scary fun. You can either goof around with your crew or have an excuse to cozy up next to your boo for protection. Just check out the haunted houses online that peak your interest.

2. Have a Halloween/Horror Movie Night
There’s nothing wrong with just staying in and enjoying some classic horror flicks! But this time around add some friends or that special someone to the mix. Pop popcorn, roast up some marshmallows, buy some candy and put on Freddy Krueger for a night of terror. You can even play some Halloween-themed games with a larger group.

3. Give Back!
Yes, this time of the year is for fun and joy but it’s also the best time to give back to your community. Find an organization that best fits you and play your part! There are many families in need of holiday dinners, winter clothes and shoes, or just good conversation. The best feeling is when you can make another person’s day/holiday an enjoyable one. It’s even more satisfying when you do it with friends and family.

4. Apple Picking
Super random right? Maybe; believe it or not apple picking is very therapeutic, calming and a great activity to do with friends. It’s also a unique date location instead of just taking your significant other on a cliché date like the movies. Either way it’s harvest season for apples and why not fill your fridge with nutritious treats that you can turn into caramel apples later!

5. Go to a Pumpkin Patch
Picking pumpkins never gets old. It’s fun for all ages and you can make it a competition with your friends to see who can get the biggest pumpkin.

6. Carve Pumpkins
You can’t go to the pumpkin patch and not carve your pumpkins. Make an effort to carve your boo’s face or your favorite Halloween characters. It’s an easy way to make your college dorm, apartment or front porch fall festive.

7. Go to a Corn Maze
There’s nothing like getting stuck in a corn maze with friends or family. Working together as a team as you wind through a maze is great for bonding and brainstorming. Most corn mazes range from easy to really difficult so pack up your crew and bundle up for one fun night!
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

8. Hayrides
Similar to a corn maze, hayrides are a great alternative to haunted houses if you’re not into getting frightened. If you are into scary hayrides they have those available as well! Just like the haunted houses, your area should have a great lineup of hayrides near you.

9. Fall Festivals
Octoberfest, Halloween nights at Universal Studios and so many more, are just some of the examples of fun festivals with fall themes! You can dance, stuff your face with holiday food, play arcade games or bob for apples, but whatever you do, make sure it’s with people you know you can turn up with!

10. Travel
As much fun as you have eating candy corn, dressing up in a costume or giving out candy to trick-or-treaters, sometimes the best thing is to just get away. If you live in a colder area make your destination a sunny location where you can show off your beach bod. Travel and party with friends or plan a romantic trip for adventures with your love.
