Sunday night, Mark Cuban sat down to discuss a potential presidential campaign. Although, the decision remains in limbo, as he waits for his wife’s approval, Cuban revealed on the Fox News Channel show “OBJECTified” that he would run on the Republican ticket to challenge Donald Trump in the primaries.
“I think there’s a place for somebody who is socially a centrist but I’m very fiscally conservative. But I think there’s better ways now to make government smaller than the old traditional Republican ways,” he said.
The Dallas Mavericks owner said he wouldn’t run unless he has solutions, but the chances of him actually going through it is still at about a four out of 10.
“We’re going into an era where people want someone who comes up with solutions,” he continued. “I think we’re going into a time where you need somebody who can connect to people and relate to people at a base level and appreciate what they’re going through – and I think I qualify on each of those.”
