Tyrese’s ex wife went before a judge on Thursday to request a permanent restraining order against the singer. According to TMZ, Norma told the court that someone has been following her and her friends, and that it makes her uneasy.
TMZ reports Norma said Tyrese has harassed her for three years, since their custody evaluation in 2014. She said his actions make her nervous at times, and she cited a 2007 incident in which she alleged he hit her while she was pregnant with their daughter. She said she signed an agreement at the time to keep the situation quiet so she would not hurt his career.
Tyrese has denied the claims. He told TMZ that Norma is bitter about his new life and marriage. With a temporary restraining order in place, he said he has not seen his daughter in more than two months and wants the legal issues resolved so he can reunite with her.
In the meantime, TMZ reports the L.A. County Department of Children and Family Services is still investigating the initial child abuse claims Norma made against the singer. None of the allegations have been proven.
