Tyrese Child Abuse Investigation Dropped Days After Meltdown

Just days after Tyrese’s meltdown over his daughter and restraining order his ex-Norma Gibson attempted to file against him, E! News reports that the singer is officially off the hook for child abuse.

Initially, Gibson accused the singer of physically abusing their 10-year-old daughter, Shayla. She claimed Tyrese beat the little girl and hit her while she was pregnant, prompting the Department of Child and Family Services to launch an investigation into the singer.

However, since then, the LADCFS said it would not be pressing charges against the singer. On Thursday, the singer revealed that he would be taking a trip out of “toxic” Los Angeles as the restraining order looms.
