On Monday, Meek Mill stood before a familiar judge to face allegations that he had violated his probation.

Two years after being sentenced to house arrest for violating probation, Judge Genece Brinkley ruled the rapper violated the conditions of his probation from his 2008 drug and weapons charges. According to TMZ, Brinkley said Meek’s St. Louis airport fight arrest and his reckless driving arrest in NYC were grounds for jail time.

Not to mention, Meek has a history with Brinkley, stemming from his 2008 charges. During the hearing, Brinkley recalled the number of chances she had given the rapper over the years, from light sentences to house arrest. But, after Meek’s probation officers gathered evidence against the rapper, including positive drug tests and calendar discrepancies, Brinkley had had enough. She sentenced the rapper to prison for a minimum of two years for violating probation. Meek was then taken into custody immediately, reports state.

In turn, Meek’s lawyer declared that he would be appealing the rapper’s sentence.
