After a woman was told by Wells Fargo that she couldn’t use Terry Crews’ face on her debit card without his permission, she relied on Twitter to get the actor’s attention. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Darrel Kennedy originally tweeted, “Ordering a new card,” with an image of Crews from his role on “Everybody Hates Chris,” in which he starred as a very cheap father. She joked that it was an attempt to help her save money. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
But on Thursday, Kennedy announced that the bank had denied her request, stating that she needed written approval from the actor. She asked Twitter to retweet her message until it caught Crews’ attention. ⠀⠀⠀
The “White Chicks” actor came to her rescue an hour later, tweeting, “I approve. Signed, Terry Crews.” ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
As a result, Wells Fargo accepted her request and expedited the new card.
