Amid the backlash over Meek Mill’s harsh sentence for violating probation, the judge that handed down the punishment has granted the rapper a new bail hearing, CBS reports.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Meek has been scheduled to appear before Genece Brinkley on Nov. 27, which came just hours after the rapper’s lawyers filed the motion to allow him to be freed on bail pending their sentence appeal.
⠀⠀
According to reports, Brinkley’s approval of a new hearing is her first move in the case since she’s been accused of malpractice on several different occasions.
