Though brief, the custody battle between Jennifer Hudson and David Otunga has officially come to an end. After a short-lived back and forth between the two, TMZ reports that the former couple has agreed to a temporary custody agreement.

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

According to the publication, the former couple’s 8-year-old son, David Jr. will live with Otunga for most of the time, as he will be the primary custodial parent, while Hudson travels for work. Initially, Hudson filed a temporary order of protection against Otunga, accusing him of violent behavior and taunting. However, Otunga claimed it was just a ploy to win the custody case against him.

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Since then though, Hudson has signed on for two projects that will require significant travel to London and Los Angeles. As a result, she has agreed to the temporary custody agreement, which gives Otunga custody for most of the time until the formal agreement has been reached. Hudson has also dropped her order of protection.
