A legal dispute involving NBA great Ray Allen appears to be over. According to TMZ, Bryant, the man who filed for a restraining order against Allen, has dropped his case.
Weeks earlier, Bryant filed for a temporary restraining order accusing Allen of stalking him. Allen denied that in an emergency motion, saying he and his family were the ones being targeted by someone who pretended to be several different women online. Bryant told TMZ that he and Allen had a personal relationship, which Allen denied. Allen also said the two had agreed to keep the matter private, and his legal team called Bryant’s claims false.
TMZ reported that Bryant did not explain why he dismissed the case. Allen’s attorney told TMZ the team is pleased that Bryant voluntarily dismissed the injunction and the claims. The attorney said Ray has never met or spoken with Bryant, has never threatened him or anyone else, and is looking forward to putting the matter behind him.
