Veteran News Anchor Amanda Davis Passes Away From Stroke

Legendary Atlanta News Anchor, Amanda Davis passed away from a stroke on Tuesday.  Davis, 62 was on her way to San Antonio to mourn the death of her stepfather when she suffered a massive stroke at the Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport. She died around 9:30 pm at the hospital with her family around.

Davis has been an anchor for over 30 years.  Her last Facebook post was on Christmas Eve and talked about not having loved ones around for Christmas for the first time, she posted “Stay strong, keep praising the Lord.”

Davis is survived by her daughter and mother.

 

We are sending our condolences to Amanda Davis and her family.
