After getting into a car crash last month on an LA freeway, Malika Haqq was arrested for a DUI. Sources say that the cops believed Haqq to be under the influence of alcohol, and decided to give her a sobriety test–which she failed.
Now, a month later, a judge has ordered Haqq to attend AA meetings twice a week due to the recent DUI charge.
The 32-year-old actress was also charged with two misdemeanors last week–driving under the influence and with a blood alcohol level of .08 or above.
According to TMZ, Haqq will be attending the AA meetings during the lead up to her arraignment next week.
This should be a lesson to not only Malika, but to others around the world. Please practice safe driving. Don’t drink and drive! That split second you decide to hop on the road under the influence could be costing, not only your own, but someone else’s life as well.
