Growing up, we heard our parents tell us over and over to watch the company we keep. Did we listen? Hell no! We continued to keep them within our circle until something foul was done. Most of us have to find out the hard way in order to learn from our mistakes, rather than listening to our parents.
A true friend is there for you through the good and the bad. Not just when you are doing great things. No matter what you have going in your personal, business, or social life, you can guarantee to have their support when it’s needed. Most of the time, you don’t even have to ask for their support, they show it because of their love for you and what you’re trying to do.
Now, you will have some people that pretend to be your friend but could really care less about you. Stay away from these miserable people. They love to see you fail and often make slick comments about your failure. Keep them far away from you as possible.
Although this isn’t new information, people seem to be naive about the company they keep. When someone shows you who they are, believe them. They will show you signs that they could really care less about you. So pay close attention.
You want someone that will support and care for you like family. Real friends are hard to come across but when they do cross your path, hold onto them.
