Former “Basketball Wives” star #LauraGovan has been hit with a $21,000 lawsuit for failing to pay rent for her 4,721 sq. ft Porter Ranch home.
According to the @blast, back in September, Govan signed a 1-year lease, agreeing to pay $7,000/month, every three months. The reality star paid for the first three months rent, but by December the landlord hadn’t received another payment. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
As a result, the landlord reportedly served Govan with a 3-day notice to pay up or leave, however, Govan failed to comply with either option. Now, three months later, the landlord is ready to settle this matter in court.
According to the publication, the landlord is suing Govan for $21,000 in unpaid rent. He is also demanding legal fees and $233 for every day Govan remains in the home after March 1, 2018. In the meantime, the landlord is looking to have Govan evicted.
