According to TMZ, the incident occurred early Monday morning at a Grammys after party at 1Oak in New York, however, it was not reported to the police until Tuesday. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Shortly before the physical altercation, the alleged victim, Eric the Jeweler, told officials that he and Quavo got into a small argument over money the rapper owes him. However, things took a turn for the worse when the argument escalated.
According to TMZ, Eric told police that he was jumped by Quavo and another man. However, club sources have confirmed to the publication that neither Offset or Takeoff were involved.

Although Eric claims he made it out of the club brawl with minor injuries, he says he was jacked for his $30,000 chain amid the melee. Now though, in the wake of Eric’s police report, the NYPD is looking to speak with the group members and their manager. According to TMZ, officials are also looking to review security footage to see what really happened.
