Earlier this week, Jay-Z filed new docs to obtain the rights for a new restaurant through his company, S. Carter Enterprises. Then the music mogul reportedly filed docs to secure the rights to the Paper Planes brand and logo, in an effort to expand to the retail market.
Now, according to TMZ, the Brooklyn-bred rapper has just filed docs to lock down exclusive rights to the Roc-A-Fella diamond hand sign.

Hov has flashed the iconic hand symbol for years to represent his legendary record label, Roc-A-Fella records. However, the rapper never made his ownership official. In fact, back in 2005, Jay-Z was sued over the hand sign in a matter that was settled out of court.

But, according to TMZ, even after the lawsuit, Page never trademarked the sign for himself, so now, Jay-Z is moving forward with the process.
