Charles Oakley has officially been cleared in his criminal assault case in connection with his altercation at Madison Square Garden last year.
Back in February 2017, Oakley was arrested after an argument with Knicks owner James Dolan. As Oakley was forcibly removed from the arena, the Knicks legend got physical with security, which led to charges for assault, harassment, and criminal trespass, in addition to a lifetime ban from the Garden.
However, Oakley accepted an Adjournment in Contemplation of Dismissal, which would wipe his arrest from his record if he stayed out of trouble for six months.

Now that Oakley has flown under the radar for the last few months, his case has been thrown out. According to the baller’s attorney, “Mr. Oakley has been completely vindicated. The New York legend lives on.”

However, Oakley is still banned from the Garden.
