If you were hoping to see Janet Jackson make a surprise appearance at this year’s Super Bowl, you can kiss those dreams goodbye, as TMZ has officially confirmed she won’t be there.
The superstar cleared up any speculation in a statement to TMZ, saying “To put to rest any speculation or rumors as to whether I will be performing at the Super Bowl tomorrow: I will not.”

“Thank you for your support and I do look forward to seeing you all very soon,” she added.

Although Justin Timberlake, who will be headlining the Super Bowl halftime show, broke the news earlier this week, we now know for sure that Jackson will not be in attendance.
