On Friday, former NFL player and bullying victim Johnathan Martin was detained after he posted a threatening message to his bullies.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
In the post, Martin shared a photo of a gun and bullets with the names of his former teammates linked in the post. He also tagged his former high school and other acquaintances with a message that read, “When you’re a bully victim & a coward your options are suicide or revenge.”

Now, in the wake of the post, new details have surfaced about the incident. According to TMZ, police say the former baller was armed upon Friday’s detention.

Sources tell the publication that officials believe Martin had recently bought two guns, one of which was featured in the post. When officials picked him up, TMZ reports that he had a gun in his car that met the police’s description.
According to the publication, Martin is currently undergoing a psychiatric evaluation.
