Just four months after MelB and Stephen Belafonte settled their longstanding divorce battle, the Spice Girl is headed back to court to block Belafonte’s visitation with Angel Murphy Brown, Mel’s 10-year-old daughter with comedian Eddie Murphy.
In initial court documents filed by Mel and obtained by the @blast, she cited an incident where Belafonte allegedly showed the children gruesome videos of ISIS executions. In fact, Mel’s other daughter, Phoenix, confirmed the story in a declaration, adding a slew of abusive allegations against Belafonte.

Mel also accused Belafonte of trying to contact her daughter while the domestic violence restraining order was in place. According to the court docs, Belafonte reportedly gave his daughter a teddy bear to give to Angel, which was filled with a note with his number for her to contact him, which directly violated the court order.

As a result, Mel filed for Belafonte’s motion for visitation with Angel to be tossed. But now, it appears the Spice Girl singer is adding even more allegations to Belafonte’s case.

According to The Blast, Mel claims Belafonte has tried to sabotage a reconnection with Angel and her biological father, Murphy. In docs obtained by the publication, Mel says Belafonte wanted to keep Angel away from Murphy during their marriage.

However, despite Belafonte’s wants and wishes, Mel says she organized a meeting between Angel and her father. But, once she fell asleep, Mel says Belafonte took her phone and began sending messages to Murphy’s assistant, which caused a cancellation on Murphy’s part.

Although Mel claims she does not know what was said, she does say Murphy “to this day,” wants nothing to do with Stephen. And despite Stephen’s drama, the father-daughter duo have reconnected, and Angel is thriving.
