Nick Gordon was arrested again on March 20, 2018, for allegedly violating a no contact order tied to a domestic violence case from the week before.
According to the Daily Mail, Gordon had been ordered to stay away from his girlfriend, Laura, after an earlier arrest in which she reportedly told police he hit her. TMZ reported that Laura asked a judge to lift the order, but the judge refused.
Now, the Daily Mail says authorities received an anonymous tip that the couple spent the night together at Gordon’s home. He was booked on a charge of violating pretrial conditions in his domestic violence case and, according to reports, may not be bailed.
Gordon has denied wrongdoing. According to a police report obtained by TMZ, he said Laura let herself in while he was sleeping and the two were “just hanging out.” TMZ reports Laura confirmed that account.
The accusations in both cases have not been proven in court.
