Halle Berry & Olivier Martinez Heading For Divorce

According to reports, Halle Berry and her husband of two years, Olivier Martinez, are calling it quits. 

Halle met the 49 year old French actor in 2010  on the set of Dark Tide. The couple got engaged in 2011 and wed Summer of 2013. Halle and Olivier share a 2 year old son, Maceo. Olivier was a doting step-father to Halle’s 6 year old daughter, Nahla. Halle wants to leave custody up to what is best for the child and hopes for a a quick, non-contentious divorce.

The couple issued a joint statement: “It is with a heavy heart that we have come to the decision to divorce. We move forward with love and respect for one another and the shared focus for what is best for our son. We wish each other nothing but happiness in life, and we hope that you respect our, and most importantly our children’s privacy, as we go through this difficult period.”

Halle, who had publicly swore off marriage can mark this split as her third divorce. She was married to David Justice from 1993 to 1997, and Eric Benet from 2001 to 2005.
