Black Panther, the 4th biggest movie in the U.S., is still breaking records. The latest record being that it’s the first public movie screening in Saudi Arabia since theaters were banned in the early 1980s. After undergoing extreme religious standards in 1979, the cinema ban was finally removed last December.
With the superhero film grossing over $1 billion in box offices worldwide, Black Panther was the perfect fit to inaugurate the new AMC-branded, luxurious theater in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The cinema is said to have marble bathrooms and over 600 leather seats on orchestra and balcony levels.
