Nick Gordon will reportedly not face criminal charges in a domestic violence case involving his girlfriend, Laura.
According to TMZ, prosecutors decided not to move forward after Laura told officials she no longer stood by her original statement. TMZ reports she now denies being attacked.
In her initial statement, Laura reportedly claimed Nick hit her several times in the face. Nick gave a different account of that night. He reportedly said Laura was the one who attacked him, and he was the person who called officials to report the dispute.
After Nick was arrested, Laura reportedly asked a judge to let him off the hook, saying she was at fault in the dispute.
With the changed statement and no other witnesses, prosecutors reportedly said they could not move forward with criminal charges over the alleged attack. TMZ reports Nick still faces a separate charge for allegedly violating a court order to stay away from Laura. He says he is innocent of that charge as well.
