In Kanye West’s return to the Twitterverse, the Chicago-native dropped a few creative jewels and even spilled a little tea about his G.O.O.D. Music roster.

West revealed everything from release dates and album names to collaborative projects and production credits. However, amid West’s talk of what’s to come in music, he also turned off the road at politics and co-signed the new token black conservative, Candace Owens.

In fact, according to Hot 97’s Ebro Darden, his criticism of West’s cosign of the right-wing pundit is what led the Chicago-bred rapper to contact the radio host to discuss. During the April 23rd episode of “Ebro in the Morning,” the radio host detailed the conversation.

According to Ebro, West recalled a time where he struggled with opioid addiction to the point where he was sent to the hospital.

“He went on to talk about ‘nobody really showed love for me when I was addicted to opioids and in the hospital,” Ebro said of the conversation, referencing the rapper’s 2016 hospitalization due to mental exhaustion.

West also reportedly said he felt “demonized” for “speaking out and challenging conventional thought,” as he added that he “loves” Donald Trump.

However, West has yet to confirm or deny the claims.
