Amid Nelly’s legal battle with Monique Greene over allegations of sexual assault, the rapper is now facing new legal issues in regard to his relationship with Shantel Jackson. In fact, Nelly may have to disclose the intimate details of the relationship as part of a longstanding assault case between Jackson and her ex, Floyd Mayweather.

Back in 2014, Jackson filed a suit against the champion boxer for assault and battery, defamation and invasion of privacy. In the docs, Jackson also accused Mayweather of releasing her medical documents on social media. However, he quickly fired back with a suit of his own, accusing his ex of running up his credit cards without permission and pocketing money that did not belong to her.

However, as the legal beef between the two died down, Mayweather turned things up with a new document to depose Nelly in the case. However, the “Country Grammar” rapper is not the only one named in the new docs. In fact, Mayweather has asked to sit down with Nelly’s ex, Ashanti as well.

Although it remains unclear what Ashanti has to do with the case, according to the blast, the boxer could be setting the tone to put pressure on Jackson. However, the depositions won’t be for another few months, as they were scheduled in January, just ahead of the expected trial.

In the meantime, both Mayweather and Jackson have denied all allegations.
