Last year, aspiring artist Teana Louis accused Bay Area rapper, #TooShort, of sexually assaulting her multiple times between June and October of 2016. Louis filed a lawsuit and police report detailing the nights of the accusations and stated, “It’s extremely devastating when you’re a young woman and you have to accept that your first sexual encounter was rape by a cruel old man that is nearly 60 years old.”⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
The “Blow the Whistle” rapper claims he and Louis only “cuddled’ a few times and didn’t even have sex. He also provided the courts with text messages proving a mutual physical interest. “Baby I wish you were here right now, just talking to u on the phone makes me wet,” read one of the texts he received from the accuser.
Although Too Short won’t face any criminal charges, key business partnerships have fell through and his public reputation has been demolished. As a result, the Oakland rapper is now suing Louis for defamation, slander, and damages. According to his attorneys, Rob Reichman and Sean Macias, all he ever wanted to do was help her launch her music career, and when it didn’t work out he wished her well and tried to move on.
