Amid #JuelzSantana’s legal issues surrounding his recent indictment on two federal firearms charges, the rapper is looking to make some adjustments to the conditions of his bond release.
According to The @Blast, in an effort to support his girlfriend and kids, the rapper has asked a judge to allow him to travel outside of New Jersey. He says the money produced from touring is the only way he can support his family, so he needs the okay to leave the Garden State.
The rapper’s legal drama stems from an incident that occurred in March when Juelz fled the scene as TSA agents discovered a Derringer .38-caliber handgun in his carry-on bag. After turning himself in, Juelz was slapped with charges, an ankle monitor upon his release on a $500,000 bond and ordered to house arrest at his mother’s home in NJ.

But now, one week after the indictment, the rapper’s lawyer is pleading for adjustments.

“It is crucial that he able to work until this matter is resolved,” the letter read, with a list of upcoming gigs the rapper would like to attend, claiming it to be a “substantial opportunity” as there are no “comparable” work opportunities for him in the Garden State.
