After years of speculation and delays, Sony has officially set a new release date for the highly anticipated “Bad Boys” threequel, “Bad Boys for Life.” ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
On Wednesday, Sony announced that the film is set to hit theaters Jan. 17, 2020 to kick off the Martin Luther King Jr. Holiday weekend.

Directed by Adil El Arbi and Bilall Falla, #WillSmith and #MartinLawrence will be reprising their roles as narcotic detectives, Mike Lowry and Marcus Burnett, 17 years after the second installment hit theaters.

The new announcement comes after several false starts, pull outs and more, including a hot take from Lawrence, where he claimed, “I don’t think we’re going to get one, not the way everything’s turning out.”
