Earlier this month, many called on Adidas to sever business ties with #KanyeWest over his controversial, irresponsible hot takes about Donald #Trump and slavery. However, the sneaker company stood firm in its decision to stick by the Yeezy Brand boss despite the backlash.

Now, two weeks later, the company may be facing legal trouble for an incident that occurred at West’s Calabasas office, where his Yeezy brand is designed.

According to TMZ, the incident occurred back in March when an Adidas employee was injured moving a large 3D printer. Sources say the heavy piece of machinery may have been used to make Ye’s shoes.

The publication reports that the printer fell on the employee’s foot and was left for several minutes until at least 7 people came to remove it. The man was then airlifted to a local hospital for emergency care. Although the details of his injury remain unclear, sources tell TMZ his foot may have been amputated.

Now, as a result, the Occupational Safety and Health Association is looking to determine the cause of the accident, specifically if there were any workplace violations that may have caused the printer to fall. If so, according to TMZ, the company could be facing almost $130,000 per violation.
