On Wednesday, 21-year-old Cosmo DiNardo pleaded guilty to the July 2017 murder of four young men in Bucks County, Pennsylvania after he lured them into a remote area under the pretense of a drug deal.

According to Philly.com, in the first incident, which occurred on July 5th, DiNard picked up the first victim, Jimi Patrick, 19, in Newton and drove him to his family-owned farm in Solebury Township with a pledge to sell him four pounds of weed.

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Two days later, DiNardo picked up his second victim, Dean A. Finocchiaro, 19, and later arranged for Thomas C. Meo, 21, and his friend, Mark Sturgis, 22, to come to the property, all under the guise of selling them weed.

However, things took a turn for the worse, when DiNardo, who was accompanied by his cousin Sean Kratz, shot the four victims, ran one over with a backhoe, and burned the last three in an oil tank before he buried them in a pig roaster.

According to reports, the disappearance of the four men remained a mystery until DiNardo tried to sell one of the victim’s cars. Shortly after that, he confessed to the murders.

“So we get there, you know, and I said, OK, well let me see the $8,000 – let me see the money,” DiNardo said of his transaction with Patrick. “So I go to count the money, and there’s 800 bucks there. So I’m like, dude, if you don’t have the money, like this is horrible. This is not good for me,” he said, as he offered to sell the man a shotgun instead.

But, when DiNardo turned over the gun, Patrick motioned to shoot it and DiNardo fired. “I go get the backhoe, dig the hole, you know. Said a prayer. Put him in the hole,” he added in his confession. “I didn’t want the kid’s 800 bucks. I didn’t kill him over 800. I wasn’t robbing him.”

DiNardo has been sentenced to four consecutive life sentences. Meanwhile, his cousin may be facing the death penalty after he unexpectedly declined his plea deal.
