Early Friday morning, a gunman opened fire inside Sante Fe High School, killing 10 people, nine of which were students. Since then, the gunman has been apprehended and identified as #DimitriosPagourzis, who was known in school for wearing a distinctive trench coat “almost every day.”

In fact, according to CNN, Pagourzis used the same coat to hide the shotgun he used in the shooting. Now, the 17-year-old is being held on capital murder charges with no bond, and the possibility of additional charges.

The shotgun and a revolver used in the incident were legally owned by Pagourzis’ father. However, officials have not revealed a possible motive. But, one student did say the shooter had been bullied in the past.

Although the alleged shooter does not appear to have a criminal record, CNN reports that he was suicidal at one point in time, according to his journal entries. In fact, there was information “contained in journals on his computer and his cell phone that he said that not only did he want to commit the shooting, but he wanted to commit suicide after the shooting.”

“As you probably know, he gave himself up and admitted at the time he didn’t have the courage to commit the suicide, that he wanted to take his own life earlier,” Texas Gov. Greg Abbott said.

According to CNN, his social media was also sprinkled with Nazi, communist, fascist and religious symbols, in addition to a picture of a custom Tee that read, “BORN TO KILL,” but officials say there were no other “red flag warnings” about the suspect.

Explosives were also found on the scene.
