The 2018 BET Awards Will Include Performances From  Kendrick Lamar, H.E.R., Migos, and More

The 2018 BET Awards will be here next month and some of the pop culture’s biggest names will be taking the stage. On Wednesday (May 30), BET announced #NickiMinaj, #JanellMonáe, #Migos, #HER and #EllaMai as some of the artists’ viewers can look forward to seeing.

This year’s awards will also be hosted by comedian, actor and host #JamieFoxx. Those nominated for awards vary from #KendrickLamar, who is nominated for both ‘Best Male Hip-Hop Artist Award’ and ‘Album of the Year’ for his personal album #DAMN, in addition to Black Panther: The Album.

Others like #SerenaWilliams and #LeBronJames are nominated for ‘Sportsperson of the Year’ awards, while ‘Best Movie’ nominees include “Black Panther,” “Girls Trip,” “Detroit,” A Wrinkle in Time” and ”Mudbound.”

#DJKhaled leads the race with six nominations this year including ‘Video of the Year,’ two for ‘Best Collaboration,’ with #Rihanna and #BrysonTiller for ‘Wild Thoughts,’ and with #JayZ, #Future and #Beyonce for ‘Top Off,’ ‘Album of the Year,’ and ‘Coca-Cola Viewers’ Choice.’

The 2018 BET Awards will air live on Sunday, June 24 at 8 p.m. from the Microsoft Theatre in Los Angeles, California.
