On Saturday, #JanetJackson phoned officials to perform a welfare check on her 1-year-old son while he was with his father, Wissam Al Mana. However, upon arrival, officials found no danger and chalked the incident up to a nasty custody battle between the estranged couple.
According to The Blast, the two have been at odds since their split over the childcare and custody of their son, Eissa. Although the two have had many arguments over the issue, things took a turn for the worse when Jackson received a call from a concerned nanny to report allegations of abuse and drug use at the hands of her ex.

As a result, Jackson called the police to check on her son at the Nobu Ryokan hotel in Malibu. However, when officials arrived, the baby was well taken care of, no drugs were found on the premises, and there was “zero suspicion of drugs being used.”

Although it remains unclear what Jackson will do in regards to custody at this time, but no report was taken in the incident and the baby was left in his father’s care.
