Trippie Redd Arrested For Assault For The Second Time In Two Weeks

Late last month, rapper #TrippieRedd was arrested for fighting over the disrespect of someone’s girlfriend. Now, just two weeks later, the rapper has, once again, found himself behind bars after a physical altercation with another woman. 

According to TMZ, the rapper was taken into custody on Tuesday and is currently being held in Fulton County Jail on charges of aggravated assault and battery causing substantial physical harm. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Although the details remain unclear, an unidentified woman provided a statement to Akademiks, detailing the alleged incident that landed the rapper in jail.

In the statement, the woman alleges the altercation stemmed from a previous incident, involving her,  Trippie and his girlfriend Angvish. Upon arrival at an unidentified location, the woman said she approached Trippie’s girlfriend, prompting an argument between the two.

“I’m yelling at her, putting my fingers in her face, so Trippie comes and f*ckin’ pistol-whipped me in the back of my head…just so I wouldn’t hit his b*tch.”

However, there is no word on whether the arrest is connected to the incident.
