According to #TMZ, there is documented proof that the suspect in question #DedrickWilliams most likely knew who XXX was before deciding to rob and gun him down.
There is surveillance footage showing the two suspects actually walking past XXX while in the motorcycle shop. Because of how well known XXX was in that particular area, investigators believe that the suspects recognized him in that moment or knew who he was beforehand.

The documents then go on to say that the suspects waited on XXX for ten minutes to leave. When XXX did eventually leave the shop and walked to his car, an SUV pulled in front of him to block him from leaving. It was at that moment the gunmen jumped out.

It was reported that XXX was shot multiple times and struggled for his life. The suspects removed a small bag from XXX’s car and then fled the scene.
