Though Lamar Odom’s condition continues to improve, some of his friends over the years have questioned the motives of those who have stopped by to visit Lamar in the hospital.
The latest opinion comes from Metta World Peace, who contrary to Master P, praised Kobe Bryant, but much like P, gave the Kardashians the side-eye. World Peace, former team mate and good friend of Lamar’s, feels that all of the celebrity visitations are taking away from the time Lamar’s children get to spend with him.
“This is nothing against Khloe” World Peace said, referring to the reality television star and Odom’s estranged wife. “This is for the celebrities that are coming to see Lamar. They should know they’re taking time away from Lamar’s children.”
“The only Kardashian that needs to be there is Khloe,” World Peace continued. “Not every Kardashian needs to be around. They need to keep it simple, so Lamar’s children can see him whenever they want to see him. They’re waiting in line to see their own father.”
He has a point. While Kim is writing instagram posts about Lamar squeezing her hand and opening his eyes, that is a moment that he should have truly been sharing with his children. It’s honestly not the time to do it for social media. Even Odom’s own brother came to visit him but was told he could not see him.
On the bright side, Lamar is currently breathing on his own and is said to soon begin the first stages of physical therapy to determine if he can walk.
